Norskkurs med entreprenørskap for gründere

Norskkurs med entreprenørskap for gründere is tailored for those of you who are in the start-up phase or planning to start your own business, and who at the same time need to strengthen your Norwegian skills. Kurskollektivet collaborates with business advisor Evgenia Marvold to integrate entrepreneurship and knowledge about work and business in Norway into Norwegian language lessons! We offer classes at several levels (A2-B2), and these courses are funded by IMDi so that they are free for participants.
Course start date: 17th September 2026
Duration: 14 weeks (80 lessons). You will find the schedule below.
Price: Free, learning materials included
Format: Online
Prerequisites
1. You must be resident in Norway for the entire duration of the course.
2a. Course 1: You need to have Norwegian language skills at a minimum level of A2.2 in writing and speaking.
2b. Course 2: You need to have Norwegian language skills at a minimum level of B1.1 in writing and speaking.
3. You must not be entitled to free Norwegian courses through the Introduction Programme, or you must have used up your rights to free training via the introduction programme. Those who have previously participated in Norwegian language training through the Norwegian education scheme, for example, other IMDi courses, can apply again provided that they meet the applicable requirements.
4. You must have established your own company (ENK/AS) or do so during September 2026.
The course is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the Curriculum for Norwegian language training for adult immigrants, and is suitable for learners who are motivated and independent, but who also want to work together with others. We want our participants to use all their plurilingual resources, and translanguaging is an important pedagogical strategy in our lessons. Therefore, we always map new participants' overall language competence and past experiences with learning languages. We will use authentic texts related to topics within entrepreneurship and business development, and you work on your own business plan throughout the course in parallel with other tasks. You also gain basic knowledge about entrepreneurship and business plan development.
The Kurskollektivet Language Portfolio is a further development of the European Language Portfolio. This is an important tool that helps you to plan, monitor and evaluate your own language learning process in order to develop a deeper understanding of how you learn and what works for you. We work systematically to help our learners develop strong learning strategies and awareness of their own learning process. The portfolio and our own flexible, differentiated learning materials are made available digitally via a handbook on our learning platform, Moodle. We believe in adapting our teaching to our learners - not the other way around!
When you take a Norwegian course with us, you also create your own language learning plan that you implement, adapt and discuss with your teachers and other learners in your group. You learn to use self-assessment forms and write language learning logs. You also receive concrete suggestions for further areas to work on after each course. This means that you come away with new tools you can use independently of our teachers or the course itself.
If you are new to our courses, you need to make an appointment for mapping and assessment of your current language skills in order to create your Kurskollektivet Language Portfolio. The meeting is held online with your teachers in Norwegian and Italian. Individual meetings for mapping and assessment will be held in the period August 11 - September 4.
