► Coming from a multicultural background introduced me to different languages from an early age: I was born in Italy to Italian and Nigerian parents, but raised between both Italy and the UK—bilingually—which has given me a deep understanding of both Italian and English-speaking cultures. My interest in languages then led me to study Linguistics and Cultural Mediation at the University of Milan, and more recently, after having learned Norwegian independently, to complete a Master’s degree in Multilingualism at the University of Oslo. My studies have made me passionate about research-based teaching methods, translanguaging and the incorporation of new digital technologies and tools in language learning.
► With my skills and experience, I can, for example, supplement young learners' language skills development in addition to what they are already studying at school or at home; assist older students with homework and academic writing; or coach professionals on how to best communicate during meetings, presentations or interviews. I also offer exam preparation courses for those aiming to take the Cambridge English A1-C2, IELTS or TOEFL proficiency tests, among others.
